Intention: I want to illustrate the three selves that coexist - us as a whole, the person we curate on the internet, and ourselves outside of the internet. I want to demonstrate that the internet version of ourselves and the one outside of it can coexist and contribute to who we are. I used a Venn Diagram to demonstrate the intersectionality
Question: What should I make the background?
I love this idea! I like the ven diagram and for the background I honestly like the white background cause I feel ven diagrams are a simple yet effective way to show things so I think a simple background would be good as well
don't laugh okay, but I think it'd be funny if on the internet one you gave them the bold glamour filter look and like photoshopped to hell and back. cause part of our curated internet personas is the best pictures where we look the best. while the outside the internet should have like acne and frizzy hair and everything human that we edit out.
I think for the background you could do like the border of a TikTok with the likes and shares stuff.
I think for your final project I think you could build off what happens if we cut out the internet, like a blissful place or something. Or the effects of it when we're old and stuff.
For background ideas, I believe you should include bright and colorful colors to contrast with the people you trying to convey in your piece possibly. For your next project, I believe you should focus on how unrestricted internet access that very young children are exposed to impacts how they grow and age. Specifically how they socialize, interact with others, and just how it negatively affects their mind as a whole. Internet access that's not restricted by children's parents can be very dangerous especially when it comes to their future growth.
i love this idea with the merging of the different personalities that people make, maybe with the different personalities you can show different drawing styles showing the different even more. for the background i think you could do. a real life backgroud with certain aspects of the digital world like with props.
I really like your ideas. i think it will be fun if you gonna use different brushes to create different texture for each figure if you are doing it digital. if you are doing it non digitally, choosing different materials to draw the 3 figures will be fun to do too. for the background maybe you can do a mixture/ combination of reality and internet since i thought your figures fit in those categories.
